Overview of Major Projects & Programs

Our major projects, at this time, include operating Sky's Place, the shelter for abused women, as well as providing law advocacy for marginalized persons. We also have our Resource Centre for clients to access computers, take basic necessitities from our Outreach Store, and to find a variety of other resources and supports, on a daily basis. The Fort St. John Women's Resource Society promotes awareness regarding violence against women with rigorous campaigns and events, and we also present community workshops and information sessions, free of charge, on various issues pertinent to low-income residents.

• Outreach Store: Free food, clothing, basic necessities, condoms and bus passes.

• Resource Centre: Open Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

• Community Law Informaton Sessions: Free workshop in the area of poverty law, law and estates

Free Computer and
Internet Access

The Fort St. John's Women's
Resource Centre offers free computer/Printer/Scanner and
internet access to all women. Our Resource Centre is open Monday to
Friday from 9am-5pm. We are
located at 10051 - 100th Avenue,
